Title of study: Understanding the views of health care professionals towards alcohol

Purpose of the study: To obtain an understanding of alcohol-related beliefs held by health care professionals and the needs of health service staff working within NHS hospitals and GP practices in England. 

Procedures and Participants role: The survey is aimed at health care professionals working within NHS hospitals and GP practices in England. To take part in this study you must be aged over 18, a health care professional currently working in an NHS hospital or GP practice in England and to have provided consent by ticking the box below.

The study will involve completing a short self-completion questionnaire which should take approximately five minutes. The questionnaire will ask for your views on sensible drinking limits, alcohol-related knowledge and consumption levels. 

Participation in this study is voluntary. If you do decide to take part, you will be required to check a box before you commence the questionnaire to show your consent to participate in the questionnaire. You are still free to withdraw from completing the questionnaire at any time and leave this website without giving reason. You do not have to answer any question you do not wish to. All the information that you provide will be anonymous.
